We want to ensure that ALL Clark County nursing homes know about our new personal care pantry! And the reality is... they don't.

Now would be a good time to start having those conversations with your church, small group, office, club, family, friends, etc.

With 600 nursing home residents to take care of this Christmas, it's gonna take full-on community-wide effort🤝

We are in full Christmas mode over here 🎅

This morning, an email went out to all 8 nursing homes whom will be participating in our Gifts & Presence program. This email contained their respective link they'll use to upload their resident wishlists. They have 2 weeks to complete this phase of the program⏳️

If you are 1 of the 8 homes reading this, please check your email, ensure you can access the link, and get a great game plan in place to compile the wishlists! It's imperative that these are entered on-time, but also equally vital that they are done right/well. We want every resident to have an incredible Christmas this year, and it begins with YOU and these wishlists!🎁

Another big thing happens today! Today marks Kathi Ann 's first day as Head Elf with us!🧑‍🎄 We are excited to have her on our team! With a massive Christmas campaign this year, the addition of Kathi will be monumental for us!

Welp... that'll do it for now🎄

God knows what we need, to do the work He's called us to do. And without fail... He delivers.

There's nothing like being at 1 of these parties and watching the residents unwrap their gifts. The ooohs and ahhhs. The tears, smiles, and pure joy that fills the atmosphere. They feel and experience a love that has escaped them for a very long time. It's a no-strings-attached kinda love. The type of love that can dramatically improve their quality of life🤗

Hope you'll plan to join us. Ya just gotta find a way to be present this year🎁

The top shelf is for lotions and creams. Ladies on left. Guys on right. As you can see, we are in need of both before our September 21st pantry.

Women's Creams - Bath & Body

Men's Lotion - Old Spice, Vaseline, Dove

Could use more women's shampoo, too. Dove, Garnier, Pantene.

Santa secured‼️ I repeat... Santa has been secured‼️

🎅 will be making his grand and jolly appearance at each of the 8 nursing home parties this year, and we have Vicki Matthies and her hubby to thank for this! They are very graciously underwriting the entirety of Santa's fees🫶 Thank you both so much!

We are continually looking for ways to take our Christmas parties to the next Christmasy level, so if you have any ideas... we are all 👂👂

Up early shopping. I blame Molly Catherinne. In a good way. She made me aware that Kroger E. Main had personal care items on clearance. So, I spent some funds that were graciously given to us for this very purpose. Feelin' good about the stewardship of those monies😃

Notice the Method brand. Those are plant-based and far less harsh. Couldn't pass em up😁

Next pantry date: Monday, Sept. 21. I will need help filling orders on Wednesday, Sept. 23rd. Should you be available🤗
