Wittenberg YDSA stands resolute in our struggle for police abolition and justice for all. The guilty verdict in the Chauvin trial is not enough, especially after the murder of Ma'khia Bryant.

Statement regarding Thursday’s Incident:
Last Thursday, anonymous bigots and racists from a 4chan discussion board ambushed a Concerned Black Students and McClain Center for Diversity virtual panel with racist and anti-Semitic slurs and insults. Wittenberg YDSA stands with President Frandsen, the Student Senate, and all others in strong condemnation of these transgressions. These attacks are nothing more than a show of cowardice by little people. These abhorrent acts of hatred, and any like them, cannot be tolerated on campus and stand in direct opposition to Wittenberg YDSA’s mission. Wittenberg YDSA stands in solidarity with CBS and all people of color in our community. We must all work together to recognize our shortcomings and move towards a more diverse and open campus and community. This type of disgusting behavior is never acceptable on our campus or anywhere else in this world.
