Installed this morning! The clear coat really made it shine. With the actual footbridge in the background, my Frisco/Thomas Hart-Benton inspired sculpture is complete! This is one of the 2 that i have painted as part of this series of Route 66 Centenial sculptures. t Find this one on Historic C-Street at the base of the soon to be reopened footbridge! Thanks Heidi Herman .

I am always up for a painting challenge and make no mistake, this is challenging! The fiberglass surface, the preparation and priming and painting over its debossed lettering. 2 of the Springfield 66 Centennial Sculptures I have painted are complete! I am looking forward to sharing them, but I you will have to wait for the unveiling. I can show you a sneak peek.
After revealing, you will know the installation locations and then you can see them in person.

Give me a wall, an underpass, a utility pole or a fiberglass sculpture, and let's get some paint on it!
