Dialog and Resolve
We exist to help with relationship revolution. Helping people, churches, groups and organizations solve conflict problems before and after they start.
David Freeman and his wife, Colette, founded Dialog and Resolve LLC as a platform through which to teach conflict resolution principles from a Christian and modern research perspective. We teach through seminar, small group and couple facilitation, and individual coaching.

The weekend conflict hint: Try not to summarize your thoughts.
Why? We and our thoughts are usually more complicated than a one word answer.
How does this work? The usual one word answer to, "How was your day?" instead of being,"Fine" or, "Terrible" becomes, "Well, for most of the day I had a good attitude, until I lost the keys and then it was terrible for a bit. But overall it was fine."
And during conflict, if you are an avoider or an accomodater, stay in the game and say more than just the summary thoughts. Summary thoughts leave out the 'whys' of what you are thinking. If the other person hears the 'whys,' he or she is more apt to be able to understand and empathize with your answer. Then you're closer to common ground.
