Getting ready to serve our dental friends luncheon on the lawn! Spring dipper is here and we are taste testing all the goodness! Bella loves the ice cream. Can’t wait to see everyone!

This last week we said goodbye to our wonderful hygienist Sharon Griffin! She officially retired after 29 years with our office! Sharon has been a wonderful asset to the office for so many years. She states, “I will miss seeing everyone’s smiles. It humbles me that I was a part of your lives all these years and could help in a small way with your dental and systemic health. Stay well.” We wish her well in her new life in Arkansas close to her children.

Dear Patient:

We are now open. We want to update you on what we are doing here in the office on a daily basis to minimize exposure to our patients and team members to any pathogens, including the new corona virus, COVID-19.

We have always followed Universal Precautions for the welfare of our patients and staff. These include:

Wearing new disposable gloves while treating each patient.

Wearing a facemask covering our mouth and nose and
protective eyewear while treating patients.

We wash our hands with antibacterial soap between every
patient.

Wiping the treatment chair, counter tops, and cabinets in the
room after seeing each patient with a high level disinfectant
designed for healthcare settings.

All of our instruments are cleaned, bagged, and heat sterilized.

In our non-treatment areas we have increased our diligence in wiping our counter tops and door k***s multiple times during the day with disinfectant wipes. We have hand sanitizer available in the check in and check out areas. Please use hand sanitizer when entering the office.

During this new normal with COVID-19, we ask our patients and family for the following considerations:

Please do not bring additional family members with you to your appointment, unless necessary assistance is needed or of course if the patient is a child.

Please advise us if you have traveled domestically or internationally within 14 days of your scheduled appointment.

If any member of your family is feeling ill, please call our office to reschedule your appointment or your child's appointment. Please do not come in the office coughing or sneezing.

We are minimizing our team's physical contact with patients and family, so we have asked our team members to not shake hands or hug.

We will continue to monitor the American Dental Association's and the American Academy of Periodontology's recommendations for dentists, based on the CDC guidelines.
