Our Vision and Mission

- To provide support, structure, care and fellowship to individuals who often feel isolated

- To provide hope and to help each individual reach their highest level of independence and inspire them to reach attainable goals

- To provide assurance to families that the ones entrusted to our care are thriving while living at Way Maker Place

- To learn about each person’s unique gifts as they grow and to prepare them for opportunities which match their gifts and skill level

- To develop a relationship with local employers, volunteer organizations and surrounding community to help our residents participate in the workforce, activities and lives of those around them

- To discover and develop relationships with key partners, donors, and friends to ensure that Way Maker Place will be a welcoming facility that can provide grace, care, stability, and safety for the individual and their family for many years to come; and most important of all

- To provide a place of hope in Christ Jesus

🇺🇸 Honoring the Value of Work This Labor Day

Labor Day is an opportunity to recognize the hardworking men and women whose dedication, determination and service help strengthen our families and communities.

At The Way Maker Place, we also believe there is dignity and purpose in every person. Each of us has unique abilities, gifts and something meaningful to contribute—and sometimes, we simply need someone willing to encourage us along the way.

Today, we give thanks for those who work with their hands, serve with their hearts, care for others, build opportunities and help make our communities better places to call home.

May we never take hard work for granted, and may we always remember to value the person behind the work.

❤️Wishing our Resident Manager, Cliff Deal, a very Happy Birthday!! God clearly led Cliff to us a year ago (this week!) and he has been an incredible blessing. He leads the guys with love and by example and we all appreciate him very much. Cliff absolutely loves nature, feeding and observing the birds, turkeys, deer and other wildlife that surrounds us at Way Maker Place. One day a bird flew into the window and was completely stunned and dazed for several minutes. Cliff and Josh tended to the bird with love and care and the bird flew away. That is a great example of Cliff’s heart! God bless you Cliff as you continue to serve the Lord. ❤️
