I went for a walk yesterday at the Nature Center. The water level was pretty high. I could listen to this all day.

Sound on

Hey everyone,
I know it's been a couple of months since I posted anything, but I'm back. First off, 111 followers! Thank you all so much.
Here are some of the photos I've taken since January.
I made a couple of trips to Wilson's Creek Battlefield and a birthday trip to Loess Bluffs Wildlife Refuge and the Kansas City Zoo.

Yesterday I went to the Nature Center for the last time in 2025. I saw this red shouldered hawk glide through the valley and land on a perch 30 feet from me. I spent the next ten minutes taking images and watching it.

Let me know which is your favorite.

This past weekend we took a trip across the border to Mammoth Spring, AR. There's something about the sound of waterfalls, whether it's man made or natural, that heals the soul. With 9 million gallons of water flowing out of the spring an hour the roar of the falls block out all other sound, leaving you with just your thoughts.

Thursday I took a drive down HWY 125 to Hercules-Glades Wilderness to see the Fall colors. I ended up hiking 6.5 miles. The views did not disappoint.

Yesterday I got the opportunity to do a quick photoshoot with Addi O Hill. What a rockstar.

Debbie had her hair done yesterday and asked for a photo shoot afterwards. We took advantage of the favorable lighting at Sequiota Park to display her blonde hair.
