In the Midst Ministries

At the summer retreat for our Board, we shared and encouraged one another with our stories and discussed how God has made each of us. We believe time spent together will benefit In the Midst Ministries as our Board works closely together, teaching women to follow Jesus.

FIRST TIME EVER! We are hosting our first Pastors' Wives Gathering in Harrison, Arkansas, on Aug. 31. Mendi Behnen, our executive director, will be the facilitator, and she'll be sharing on caring for your soul. Invite a pastor's wife to join us for a meal and discussion. No cost.

If you know a pastor's wife who lives in the area of Cassville, Missouri, invite her to our next Pastors' Wives Gathering on July 14. Jannette Weaver is the facilitator, and she will be sharing about "Feasting with Friends." Speaking of, invite a friend to join you.

In the Midst just returned from the Abide women's conference at . It was a very good few days, spent with incredible people. Our team worked amazingly well together. Everyone used their gifting, and the unity of Spirit was awesome.

The Lord is definitely at work in South Dakota! During mealtime discussions and breakout workshops, I heard ladies talking about the key points of the teaching: surrendering, depending on God, and obeying . It was clear they were internalizing the teaching and applying it in their lives. They were excited to take the 7/24 Challenge and to learn how to use a HEAR journal as they interact with God in His Word.
