Services is Friday April 18, 2025 at Noon.

Lutheran Good Friday refers to the solemnity of Jesus's last day on earth as a man, commemorated during the Tenebrae service in Lent. It is a day for sober reflection on the cost of redemption and the sacrifice of Christ.

Maundy Thursday services will be April 17/25 at noon.

On this day we remember Jesus’ commands on the day before He died. The first command is to love one another: “A new commandment I give you: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, so also you are to love one another.” (John 13:34 EHV)

Origninal posting by Missouri Synod Lutheran Church: On Jan. 7, a series of wildfires, fueled by the Santa Ana winds, broke out in Los Angeles County, California. Currently, more than 29,000 acres are estimated to have burned, along with more than a thousand homes, businesses and other structures. Widespread evacuations have been ordered. Five people have reportedly died, with that number expected to rise. At this writing, three of the five named fire zones — Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, Lidia and Sunset — are still 0% uncontained.

Palisades Lutheran Church in Pacific Palisades, Calif., is within 100 yards of the fire line. The congregation’s pastor, the Rev. Dr. Martin Lee, reports that a neighboring church, Pacific Palisades Presbyterian Church, has already burned.

Please join us in praying for all those affected by the wildfires in California. https://thelc.ms/4a8IVg5

Hope's Springfield Parade stand on December 7th, 2024. Church member design and made each stand section, then mid-day before the parade church members put together the beautiful stand. While the day had lots of rain, the community lined up the streets to watch and the church stand provided free hot chocolate for the wet and cold period of the parade. Weather did not stop one thing, all had much fun.
