We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God. It is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. For reasons of unity within the church and textual reliability, we choose to use the King James Version of the Bible. 1 Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ, eternally existing, is the only begotten Son of God, who became a sinless man in order to redeem us. He was born of a virgin and is fully God and fully man. Luke 1:30-55; John 1:1-15; Philippians 2:5-8; Colossians 1:15
Sin
We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell through sin, bringing not only physical death, but also spiritual death or eternal separation from God. Now all of man kind exists as a fallen race, with an inherited sinful nature. Genesis 1:26-27; 2:16; 3:10-23; Romans 3:10-23; 6:23
Salvation
We believe that Jesus suffered and died as the payment for the sins of the whole world. He physically arose from the dead and then ascended into Heaven. Simple faith in this sacrifice is the only way for mankind to be saved from the judgment to come. Luke 24; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 5:8-10; Ephesians 1:20-23; 1 Peter 3:18
Missions
We believe that Christ has called every member in the local church (an assembled body of believers) to tell others about the Savior, Jesus Christ. Mark 16:15; 1 Corinthians 12:12; Ephesians 1:22-23
End Times
We believe that Jesus Christ will soon come again in the air to claim His people and to reward their services. Unbelievers left behind will go through a period called the Tribulation. After this, Christ will return to the earth to set up His Kingdom of one thousand years of righteous rule. All of this will climax when the unbelievers of all ages will stand at the Great White Throne to be Judged and cast into the Lake of Fire, separated from God forever, while the believers spend eternity in the fullness of joy in Heaven with the Lord. Men, if you are going to the men’s rally up in Salem tonight, please meet at the church between 4:15 and 4:30. We will be leaving the church at 4:30 to head up to Bethel Baptist.

Yesterday was such a wonderful start to our 2026 revival! We kicked things off with a fun all-church school of ministry breakfast featuring a message from Dave Sommerdorf, followed by Sunday morning and evening services from the book of John.

We’re excited to keep our 2026 revival going tonight, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 7 p.m. If you’d like to read ahead, Bro. Dave will be preaching from II Timothy 2:1–4 tonight.

Here’s a friendly update for the week ahead: Pastor will share a message from 1 Timothy 6:6–10 this Wednesday night.
Please join us Saturday at 8:30 a.m. for our monthly maintenance day.
Sunday kicks off our 2026 revival! We’ll start with an all-church School of Ministry at 8:30 a.m. featuring Evangelist David Sommerdorf. Brother David will preach Sunday morning and evening, plus Monday through Wednesday. On Sunday, he’ll deliver a two-part message from John 21:15–22.
