Our monthly uke jam would typically be tomorrow, but it's Easter, so we're rescheduling it to *next Sunday,* April 12, 2-4 p.m.
Don't forget: our new home is The Where House Bar, 2463 W. Sunshine St., #120 in Springfield. We hope you'll "hop on over" after Easter and join us! 💜🩷🩵💜

BIG NEWS!

We're thrilled to share that WE HAVE A NEW HOME!
Beginning in February, we'll meet at a great location, the Where House Bar. This is a family friendly establishment located at 2463 W Sunshine St, # 120, Springfield, MO, 65807.
They have a wonderful event room with a stage and a pull down screen for us to project our music. The folks that own/manage the business are ukulele fans and players themselves. They have offered us this great space, at our customary meeting time. So … beginning on Sunday, February 1 (the first Sunday of the month), we will meet at our new home!
Our committee met there, set up our equipment, and played several songs as a test drive. It was fantastic and fun. There are numerous food trucks that are located in the ample parking lot and the Where House allows food to be brought inside. They serve delicious beverages, both adult and family friendly, and the sound and atmosphere is great.
Please mark your calendars and join us to help celebrate the new home of The Queen City Ukulele Club at the Where House on Sunday, February 1, from 2-4 p.m.

Hello, friends! Them Uke Boys, a rocking cover band from Omaha, Nebraska, will be at the Where House Bar this Thursday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. These guys are GREAT! They do everything from Queen to ELO, from Jimmy Eat World to Pink Floyd, all delivered with energy, tight musicianship and a wink. If you think ukulele means Tiny Bubbles or Tiny Tim, come get a paradigm shift with that cocktail. ;-)

Happy New Year everyone! After the holidays you may be wondering what to do with your extra time. We have the answer! Come and join us for our first Sunday, first of the year uke jam Sunday, January 4, 2026! We will be meeting at the Library Station on N. Kansas Expressway from 2-4 p.m. We hope you can make it!

Tomorrow is the first Sunday of the month, and that means it's time for our next uke jam! Please note that our jam will be in a different location and held at a different time! Our uke jam will be tomorrow, Sunday, December 7 and will be at 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (instead of our regular 2-4 time) at the Library Station, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway, Springfield. This will also be our holiday party. Please consider bringing a treat or snack to share. We will play a lot of Christmas music plus maybe a few other favorites. It's not required, but certainly feel free to wear your holiday wear. We realize the 11:30 time may be difficult for some people, but it was the only time slot available to us in order to keep our uke jam on the same day of the month, so come whenever you can and join in the festivities! We look forward to seeing you there and kicking off the holiday season together!

It's our birthday! Our club is 12 years old! We're celebrating at our uke jam this Sunday, November 2 and hope you join us. We'll meet at the Schweitzer Brentwood Library, 2214 S. Brentwood Avenue in Springfield, from 2-4 p.m. There'll be snacks and birthday cake and lots of fun songs to strum and sing. The Springfield Ukestra will perform four songs at the beginning to top off its fall season.

The Queen City Ukulele Club is a warm and welcoming club for all ages and abilities. It's FREE (our favorite four-letter word). All you need to bring is your ukulele. Hope to see you this Sunday! Don't forget that Daylight Savings Time also occurs on Sunday at 2 a.m. :-)

Happy Summer! ☀️ Please join us for our June uke jam this Sunday, June 1, from 2-4 p.m. at Schweizter Brentwood Library, 2214 S. Brentwood Blvd. In Springfield. We’ll play and sing and have some treats to kick off the season. 🌻 The Springfield Ukestra will perform two songs from Symphonie Miniature by James Hill, and we’ll hear two solos by ukestra members. There may be a big debate about what day it actually is on Sunday, but one thing we know for sure is that it is "Play Your Ukulele Day" with Queen City Ukulele Club! That's right! This Sunday, Feb. 2 we will meet in the Community Room of the Schweitzer Brentwoood Library 2214 S. Brentwood Blv., Springfield, MO from 2-4 p.m. We will also hear about a unique and fun opportunity to play at a Springfield Cardinals game! Bring your ukulele and join us for some fun music and fellowship! It’s free and all ages and abilities are welcome!
