Easter Sunrise Celebration

Due to the rain ☔️We are inside the Cardinals Training Center for the Easter Sunrise Service at 6:20am!

We're praying for it to be a beautiful sunrise service this Easter Sunday at 6:20AM. Rain or shine, the service must go on.

On Easter Sunday, we gathered at Hammons Field at sunrise to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. We were blessed with beautiful weather, angelic singing, and a great community of people. We want to thank all of the volunteers and speakers who made this beautiful event happen.

The Easter Sunrise Celebration is just one week away! The gates will open at 6:15am and the service will begin at 6:45am. We're also excited to share that The Salvation Army - Springfield, MO will be providing coffee and hot chocolate before the service.

We are less than a week away from the Easter Sunrise Service!! We are so excited to get together for the celebration. Who will you be bringing with you? 🌅

Thank you for your interest in the Easter Sunrise Celebration in Springfield, MO. We wanted to update you on what took place Easter weekend.

As of Saturday night (April 16) at 7:30, the committee still felt that the rain would hold off until after 9 a.m. Unfortunately, at 5:30 a.m., it was pouring at the stadium.

The committee members who were there, along with Aaron Lowrey from the Cardinals organization, decided it would be totally impossible to have the service. Interestingly, the service participants who were there have all agreed to come back for the 2023 service. Praise the Lord!

A shoutout goes to the Salvation Army volunteers who were already serving coffee and hot chocolate--in the rain. Blessings on you!

Thank you to the dedicated people who were already in their cars in the parking lot when we decided to cancel. You showed immense faith! We will be looking for you next year.
