Today we celebrate one of the visionary founders of Eden Village whose compassion, leadership, and unwavering belief in the dignity of every person helped turn a dream into a movement.

Because of Dr. Brown's heart for people and commitment to creating community, countless lives have been transformed through the work of Eden Village. His legacy can be seen not only in the homes that have been built, but in the hope, belonging, and relationships that continue to flourish every day.

Please join us in wishing Dr. David Brown a very happy birthday and thanking him for the incredible impact he has made on so many lives. WE LOVE YOU!

75% of donors don't know about the Universal Charitable Deduction (UCD).

- $1,000 deduction for single filers
- $2,000 deduction for joint filers

This is an above-the-line deduction available to standard deduction filers and allows donors who don't itemize to now receive tax benefits for charitable giving. The UCD effectively reverses much of the negative impact from the TCJA for donors who don't itemize. It restores a tax incentive for the 67% of donors who take the standard deduction.
