UIS's Parking Lot D is getting some much-needed attention! We’re excited to share that the lot is expected to be open and ready to welcome patrons in time for our reopening this October. Progress is happening everywhere you look, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back!

Lighting the way—literally. ✨

Our new end cap lights are in, and they’re bigger, brighter, and easier to see than ever before. Each row is now clearly marked, making it simple to find your seat and get settled faster.

It’s another small upgrade making a big difference as we continue improving your experience. Stay tuned—more updates are on the way!

We’re sharing this message to let our patrons know that Bryan Rives, Director of the UIS Performing Arts Center, will retire on June 30, 2026, after nine years of dedicated leadership. During his time, the UIS PAC has experienced significant growth and continued to serve as a cultural hub as a premiere destination for arts and entertainment. The university has named Sarah Brewer as interim director as the Center prepares for its next chapter.
