The Democratic Party of Lane County endorsed Springfield Mayor Sean Van Gordon in his run for County Commissioner.

Van Gordon is a conservative, not a Democrat. This is how willing the Democratic party is willing to compromise to stay in power.

They don't want progress any more than the Republicans.

Why are so many Republicans STILL making excuses for Trump?

Because they lack the courage and the integrity to admit he's evil.

Thomas Sibick pleaded guilty in 2023 to assaulting a DC police officer on January 6 and to stealing that officer's badge and radio. He buried the badge in his backyard.

Fifty months.

He served 18 of them before Trump's pardon walked him out in January 2025.

That pardon covered his federal conviction. It covers exactly nothing else.

This month Sibick pleaded guilty in Erie County, New York, to a state weapons felony. Sentencing is set for November 17.

No president can pardon a state charge. Not this one, not any of them.

The maximum he's now facing is not 50 months, and it's not close.
