The Shandies

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We are spending these last days of the year reflecting and full of gratitude for all of the wonderful musical experiences we’ve had in 2025. Thank you so much for your continued support of our music and for us as people ❤️

We are back home after a wonderful 4 days in Nashville! Natalie participated in an amazing studio workshop with Jonatha Brooke, one of her longtime songwriting heroes, while Shannon did some sightseeing, and we reconnected with friends! We’ve come home inspired and can’t wait to share new songs with you soon! We can just feel it - that 2026 is going to be our best year yet ❤️

Big thanks to Barak Hill for having Natalie perform in the pop-up “Sketches, Scraps, and Lines” songwriters’ showcase last night at Lindberg's Tavern. She debuted three new songs, two of which she finished earlier that day! They will soon get “Shandified”and make it onto our fifth album, which we hope to release this summer!

We are huge fans of Barak’s music but also enjoyed hearing fellow showcasers Marshall Hill and Tony Menown! So much talent in our town!

“Spotify Wrapped” is always tough. As indie artists, we don't have the impact to remove our music from Spotify and drive change. That burden should not be on the little guys like us. But if the top 5 artists on Spotify were to remove their music until all artists were paid a fair wage, what could happen? 🤔 In the meantime, we are grateful for the 186 people who had us as a top artist this year, for every stream, and every listener on every platform, especially those folkies who still buy our CDs and support our passion. We appreciate you!

New video coming soon!

What a fabulous night of music! It was so much fun getting to be a part of the The Ozark Mountain Daredevils Generations Concert again! We performed “Within Without” from The Dares first album and also our original song “The Bird And The Cage.” Our first time playing Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts and it was amazing! Thank you to Jimmy Rea for organizing and including us again! So many great performances from our incredible local music scene here in Springfield, Missouri! Our hearts are full this morning!
