Summer Time Is Here and the Temperature Is getting hotter as We move into almost the middle of June .Please Keep Our Dear Friend Mr Bobby Usher in your prayer . He had a stroke sadly ,a little while ago and is full - time care in Statesboro . We do miss seeing Him , with His Smile and always telling Us about History of Effingham County. We do invite you and your family to come out and Visit THE Effingham Museum and Living History Site..which if you call ahead , We can have Someone On hand to give you a Tour out there ☆ Tuesday s through Thursday s 9am -1 pm.♡

Our sister museum will be hosting an event next weekend in honor of our country's semiquincentennial.

1ST SATURDAY AT THE MUSEUM we had good for Vistors & the Museum Crew to show them around Thanks Charlie Arnsdorff , Linda Hodgson and Mr.Tom Hodgson, their grandkids Carter & Lily and Paul Padgett 😀 !

TODAY IS 1ST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH AT THE EFFINGHAM MUSEUM FROM 2 PM ~ 4 PM WE INVITE YOU TO COME TO BY A VISIT THE MUSEUM JUNE 6TH 2026 ❤️

Beverly Poole has done for The Museum Office and for putting up with all us Historic Guys lol and Gals , I guess and welcoming Paul Padgett To Join The Historic Effingham Society and nominated as a Board Member ..We have SO SO Much to do to upkeep Everthing In The Museum and Exspecially the Living History Site. Alot of New Projects are planned this , thing to do only if Summer ..temperatures allow & If You Would Like to Help on a Saturday Work Day or a Anyday Work Day Please let Us know !
