Yesterday, some of our singers performed at Carnegie Hall under the baton of our friend, Dr. Michael Barrett and our very own Dr. LaBarr!
We are incredibly thankful to our leadership at for being such ardent supporters of the arts and traveling all the way to NYC to support our performance. The experiences our singers receive wouldn’t be possible without their consistent and tremendous support!

One year ago today, our lives were changed for the better.
In March of 2025, the Missouri State University Chorale and the Tuks Camerata (Pretoria, South Africa) embarked on a transformational experience that would span five months.
Led by conductors Cameron F. LaBarr and Michael Barrett, these two ensembles from separate skies joined as one voice for a concert tour across Missouri, Arkansas and Texas. This led to a three-day recording project where a sixteen-track album was recorded.
In July that same year, the Missouri State University Chamber Choir embarked on a concert tour across South Africa. Their first concert was in Pretoria with the University of Pretoria Camerata.
Join us as we share how this once-in-a-lifetime experience came to life and how it has impacted students and audiences alike.
