Diane founded Heart Matters Foundation as a way to give back the enormous gifts she has received throughout the years. She considers herself an open book, being transparent in the desire to help others obtain true joy and freedom. Diane openly shares how

Every life matters. Every story matters. Every voice matters.
At Heart Matters Foundation, we believe in connecting individuals to the heart of God through art—and at the heart of our work is the belief that people matter.
That’s why we’re sharing Kim’s Law.
As someone who has personally experienced domestic violence, I know what it means to walk through something you never imagined you would survive. I am grateful to be able to say:
I survived. I overcame. And I’m still here. 🙏🏼
But not everyone gets that chance.
Kim’s Law seeks to ensure that when a person is killed by an intimate partner, the individual responsible for that death cannot continue to control decisions about their victim’s body and final arrangements.
The person responsible for taking a life should not have the power to decide how that life is honored in death.
Families deserve the opportunity to grieve, to say goodbye, and to honor their loved one with dignity and peace.
We may not all have the same stories, but we all have the ability to use our voices for something greater than ourselves.
