The Lagonda Challenge

We submitted the Lagonda Challenge Project to Pepsi Refresh at 12:02 am Oct. 1 and they already had 1000 submissions. We'll try again Nov. 1 for voting in December.‌

Club Lagonda will establish a private-sector-funded scholarship in the amount of $1,000 for every high school in Clark County, Ohio that enlists 250 unique Facebook Friends of The Lagonda Challenge.(Read "Everybody Wins" for details)

Everybody wins with the Lagonda Challenge If The Lagonda Challenge (aka Club Lagonda) wins one of the two $250,000 Pepsi Refresh Everything grants to be awarded December 1st, the following will happen:

None of these benefits will accrue to Springfield, Clark County, Ohio unless The Lagonda Challenge wins a Pepsi Refresh Grant.
It's up to all of us ... we can make Club Lagonda happen. All of us must VOTE ONCE A DAY EVERY DAY the entire month of October 2010 to give this project a chance !

5. Lastly, the Wilsons will benefit by realizing their plans to preserve the Lagonda Building.

4. Upon completion, Club Lagonda will provide a supervised facility in which young adults may gather on an events-oriented basis to enjoy each other's company, learn social skills, and be mentored and tutored against destructive decisions.

3. Further, The Club promises to make the facility available for parents, teachers, and student groups to sponsor three fundraisers annually in an effort to maintain Club Lagonda's scholarship program.

1. Work will start to establish a youth and events-oriented community club on the first floor of the Lagonda Building. The Lagonda Building is a gateway property to downtown Springfield, Ohio, and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
