The scariest part?
Not the mess.
Not the cables.
Not even the mystery equipment.
It’s the data.
Because somewhere in that pile is:
logins
client info
internal systems
access points you forgot existed
And none of it is actually gone.

Deleting files.
Factory resets.
“Out of sight, out of mind.”
None of that guarantees your data is gone.
And in the wrong hands? That “old tech” becomes a very real problem.
At eSCO Processing & Recycling, we don’t play guessing games with your data.
We physically destroy it.
We securely process it.
We document it.
Because here’s the truth:
👉 If you didn’t destroy it… it still exists.
💥 We shred what you can’t hide.
💥 Certified data destruction (NAID AAA)
💥 Full chain-of-custody + Certificates of Destruction
💥 Responsible, no-landfill e-waste recycling
Take the risk off your plate and get it handled the right way.
Let’s clean out that IT closet before someone else does.

Tonight’s Springfield Tech Council Cyber Series kickoff at Wire Road Brewing was honestly one of those events that reminds you why community matters so much in tech.
Great conversations. Great people. Great food from Joe Bird’s BBQ. And yes… grown adults launching inflatable donkeys through the air competitively like it was an Olympic sport. 😂
Huge thank you to the 2026 Cyber Series sponsor, DTG along with partner Zafran, for helping bring the local tech community together in such a fun and relaxed way.
One thing about STC events is they create space for actual conversations. Not stiff networking. Not awkward sales pitches. Just smart people from all areas of tech connecting, sharing ideas, laughing, and building relationships that genuinely matter.
Also… Donk Toss absolutely lived up to the chaos promised. Somewhere between co****le, strategy, and complete nonsense. 10/10 entertainment value. 🫏🎯
When your IT storage room starts looking less like “organized surplus” and more like the final scene of a disaster movie, it might be time to call in backup.
Old laptops, retired servers, mystery cords, forgotten monitors, hard drives hiding in drawers, and that one printer nobody wants to make eye contact with… we see you.
Before your storage room reaches final-destination proportions, eSCO Processing & Recycling can help your team clear it out safely, responsibly, and securely.
We provide electronics recycling, IT asset disposition, secure data destruction, hard drive shredding, serialized reporting, and Certificates of Recycling so your old technology does not become a compliance risk, security issue, or storage room horror story.
Your IT team has enough to manage. Let us handle the e-waste pile.

Students are gone.
Teachers are gone.
But that pile of tech? Oh, it stayed loyal.
Inside the closet:
Chromebooks with trust issues
Cords that go to absolutely nothing
A printer that’s just… emotional support now
Hard drives still holding onto every password ever
Friendly reminder:
If you didn’t destroy the data… it’s still there 👀
Let eSCO handle it so you don’t have to:
✔ Secure data destruction
✔ Responsible recycling
✔ FREE pickup for Missouri schools
Close the closet… and let us deal with the chaos.

Don’t miss the next Learning Over Lunch on Thursday, 5/14:
“AI Won’t Lead Your Team. You Will. (Are You Ready?)”
A lot of IT professionals move into leadership because they’re great technically… but leading people is a completely different skill set.
This session dives into the reality of modern IT leadership, how AI is changing the landscape, and why strong human decision-making still matters now more than ever. Especially with all the AI hype, noise, and automation flooding the industry.
You’ll hear practical insight on:
• Building teams that actually scale
• Moving beyond technical-only leadership
• Where AI helps and where it absolutely doesn’t
• Why human leadership is still the difference-maker

Register for our next Learning over Lunch held Thursday, 5/14: AI Won't Lead Your Team. You Will. (Are You Ready?)
Most IT leaders are promoted for what they know, not how they lead. This session hits the hard truth about why technical excellence creates a ceiling, not a career, and what it actually takes to build a team that scales.
We’ll also dig into where AI is reshaping the IT leadership landscape, what it means for your team’s decision-making, and why a human in the loop is still needed - especially with the AI noise in the IT landscape today.

or Mom brain right now:
• 47 passwords
• 12 logins
• 6 devices that all need updates
• 3 school apps
• 2 work systems
• 1 brain trying to hold it all together
And somehow…
she still remembers your dentist appointment from 2009.
Here’s one thing she shouldn’t have to worry about:
Old devices sitting around holding personal and business data.
That’s where we come in.
We clear it out.
We destroy the data.
We recycle everything responsibly.
One less thing on Mom’s already full plate.
