Everything needed to face paint will be brought to your party or event. The artist's table and two chairs are provided for indoor setup at no charge. Hypoallergenic facial wipes are provided and each person/child is required to wipe the area to be painted before the painting may begin. Services are provided in
a HYGIENIC manner... as fresh sponges and clean brushes are always supplied between each person's face painting. Also, several gallons of fresh water are supplied by the artist to keep clean all supplies during the face painting. Outdoor venues require a 10' x 10' canopy for shade, which will be set up for an extra fee of $10, unless the face painting will take place in a shaded, non-windy area, such as a pavilion. You NAME it! Does it matter where the party is located?
* For parties/events LESS THAN 15 MILES from my base in Springfield, Missouri, there is NO TRANSPORTATION FEE ---- Parties outside of the 15-mile radius of my base will pay a fuel compensation fee of 50¢ per mile each way (for example, a party that is 18 miles from the intersection of Golden & Republic Road in Springfield, Missouri, would incur an $18 transportation fee). Each detailed FULL FACE design will take approximately 10 - 20 minutes. Much simpler designs for high-volume events take only 3 - 5 minutes (simple quickie, arm or cheek designs). You can likely figure about 5 to 20 faces to be painted per hour, depending on the complexity of the designs that are chosen. In order keep your costs down but still make sure everyone has a chance to have their face painted, please, figure out what types of designs people may choose from BEFORE the event. How to choose these design types (full-face, mask, cheek, arm, etc) will be discussed with the face painter during a phone conversation. INDIVIDUAL appointments are available and highly detailed designs which may take up to an hour, but these are offered for less per hour! Super detailed designs are best suited for 'one-on-one' appointments with me.... such as designs which might be needed for Halloween or other special events. Extra time can be spent on the birthday boy/girl, bride-to-be or the prom queen, but please figure a little extra time into the scheduling of your event so that you don't run out of time for the other guests who'd like their face painted. "Theme" designs for holidays, corporate Logos and such are also offered. Please, ask for details. Wolfe Face and Body Paints:
Safe, non-toxic, hypo-allergenic, water-based, high grade, professional-quality face paint is all that is used, and most products that are used are made by Wolfe. Wolfe paints are formulated in strict accordance with FDA regulations on cosmetics. This paint can be easily washed off with water and a mild soap may also be used to remove brighter colors. There is no oil in the Wolfe Face Paints. A list of the paint's ingredients will be on display at the face painting table.
**NOTE - For the safety of everyone painted, anyone with an appearance of infection, puffy or pink eyes, open sores or who appears to be sick will not be painted. Four years experience as a public school art teacher

What extras can you expect? At no additional charge customers may receive glitter, stick-on jewels, UV (black-light) paint and vibrantly-colored, FDA-approved face paint to create amazing designs which bedazzle your party fun! Please pay deposit by personal check, electronic bank check or money order. In order to keep your face painting fees as low as possible, no credit cards or PayPal is accepted - this is due to the additional transaction fees these services charge, and the percentages per sale they charge, etc. - thus, by having you pay the deposit by check, we pass the savings on to our customers. CHARITY OPTION :
If the charity event hosts would like to sponsor the face painter, a reduced hourly rate of $45/hour will be offered (to cover the painter's expenses and time) -- and with charities there is not a pavilion/setup fee. I paint faces for free.
It’s the hauling of my art kit/table/supplies/signs, packing it all into the car, driving to the event, hauling it to the actual area I'll be painting faces, locating a water source, arranging and setting up the painting supplies and signs, using my materials and art equipment, sterilizating my supplies, breaking everything down, hauling it to and packing it back into the car, driving back home, and being away from my family for which I'm paid.
