James and Rachel Fiore moved to the Marmon St. neighborhood in May of 2010. We have been slowly turning the vast expanse of lawn into an edible landscape.

Every year we find new creatures we haven’t seen in the 13 years we’ve been here. This year we have seen more amphibians than before - toads and frogs for the first time. A very good sign that healing is taking place.

Every year there’s something new that we haven’t seen on this land. Today, this little guy hung out while I weeded. Yesterday it was morels.
