My latest episode of "Just Passin' Through." Skipjacks are the last of their kind. Simple, tough sailboats made to harvest oysters in the Chesapeake Bay. In their day there were hundreds of them. Now, only a handful remain and still harvest oysters by sail as they have for decades. Captain Stoney Whitelock and other enthusiasts are trying to save the few remaining boats, keep them sailing and allow future generations to enjoy these historic vessels and the stories of the way of life for those who sailed them.

I have just completed a small interview film of my old high school chemistry professor. As a young boy in Hungary, Dr. Karl Schwenk saw his family farm confiscated by the N***s and used as a concentration camp and his mother narrowly escape being thrown into a camp herself by the SS when she was caught helping the Jews. I went back to interview him and get his remembrances of that time as well as the future he created for himself and students he inspired as a great teacher.
