May 2026 Bike of the Month: 2004 Giant TCX. I ordered this frameset back when I was racing cyclocross but by the time it arrived the season was over. I had some bike tours planned that summer so I decided to build it up as a light weight touring bike. Turned out to be one of my favorite builds. Ride & Smile!

April 2026 Bike of the Month: Optima Barron lowracer. Dutch designed recumbent known for it's excellent performance and high speed handling. But I have to admit it did take me awhile to get used to the slow speed handling when starting out. I enjoy trying out different types of bike designs, but I will always prefer a classic road bike. Ride & Smile everyone!

March 2026 Bike of the Month: Masi fixed gear, steel frame & fork, with front brake. A traditional old school spring training bike with low gearing for perfecting your spin and getting your legs in shape for the upcoming season. Ride & Smile!

February 2026 Bike of the Month: Diamondback Century 4, carbon frame upgraded to a DuraAce 10 speed Di2 groupo (except crankset) DuraAce wheelset with ceramic bearings. This bike was designed as an endurance model for long days in the saddle. I have to admit my first choice for any ride will always be one of my vintage steel bikes, I just love the way they ride. But when I want to change things up a bit a very light bike with a solid feel and plenty of comfort gets the job done. Ride & Smile!

January 2026 Bike of the Month: Let's start the new year with a brand new custom built Italian Casati with a beautiful chrome finish, Campagnolo Record 12 speed groupo and Campy wheelset. I had a couple ask me to help them with filling out the sizing info for a pair of custom built bikes. They wanted old school Italian steel, rim brakes and mechanical shifting and this is the result. His is this beautiful chrome model and hers is finished in Italian Racing Red. I believe this is one of the best examples of Ride & Smile you will ever experience. Happy New Year everyone!

December 2025 Bike of the Month: 1992 Schwinn Paramount MOS series 90. Top of the line in '92 the series 90 PDG frames were built by Panasonic in Japan using Waterford lugs and Tange Prestige tubing. Most mtb frames at the time were tig welded so the more labor intensive lugged frames were a sign of higher quality. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays. Ride & Smile

November 2025 Bike of the Month: 1984 Raleigh Racing USA. In the 1980's Raliegh had a division in the United States and this was one of their top models. This lugged Reynolds 555 tubed frame was available as a frameset that you could build up to your own specs. Ride & Smile!

October 2025 Bike of the Month: 1984 Cesare, Built in Padua Italy. Cesare Rizzato builds Atala, Lygie, Rizzato and Cesare bicycles. This limited edition gem is built with Columbus SLX tubing and has a Campagnolo Carbon Record Titanium groupo. Ride & Smile everyone.

September 2025 Bike of the Month: 1997 Bontrager Privateer S. Keith Bontrager designed Trek built. This solid performer was intended as an affordable choice for the privateer racer. This one has had many upgrades and is still a great ride. Ride & Smile everyone!
