August 2026 Bike of the Month: Early 2000's Airborne Carpe Diem Aluminum frame, Carbon fork. The odd thing about this frame is Airborne never sold Aluminum Carpe Diem's just titanium models.I bought this one at Airborne's annual garage sale. I was told at the time it was a pre-production prototype. It was never listed in the Airborne catalog. It's a shame it never went into production because it rides wonderful. Ride & Smile

July 2026 Bike of the Month: 1990's Cannondale CAD3. Old school mountain biking at its best, plus the headshock suspension has a lock out for riding on smooth surfaces. This is my grandsons bike (Michael #5) gifted to me by a generous customer. It is the perfect bike for him to explore offroad with his friends. Have a safe and happy 4th of July. Ride & Smile!

June 2026 Bike of the Month: Mid 80's Serotta SLX. Ben Serotta designed and built some of the most amazing road bikes of the 70's, 80's and 90's and this one is no exception. Columbus SLX steel tubing, beautiful lugs and a gorgeous paintjob makes you just want to Ride & Smile!

May 2026 Bike of the Month: 2004 Giant TCX. I ordered this frameset back when I was racing cyclocross but by the time it arrived the season was over. I had some bike tours planned that summer so I decided to build it up as a light weight touring bike. Turned out to be one of my favorite builds. Ride & Smile!

April 2026 Bike of the Month: Optima Barron lowracer. Dutch designed recumbent known for it's excellent performance and high speed handling. But I have to admit it did take me awhile to get used to the slow speed handling when starting out. I enjoy trying out different types of bike designs, but I will always prefer a classic road bike. Ride & Smile everyone!

March 2026 Bike of the Month: Masi fixed gear, steel frame & fork, with front brake. A traditional old school spring training bike with low gearing for perfecting your spin and getting your legs in shape for the upcoming season. Ride & Smile!

February 2026 Bike of the Month: Diamondback Century 4, carbon frame upgraded to a DuraAce 10 speed Di2 groupo (except crankset) DuraAce wheelset with ceramic bearings. This bike was designed as an endurance model for long days in the saddle. I have to admit my first choice for any ride will always be one of my vintage steel bikes, I just love the way they ride. But when I want to change things up a bit a very light bike with a solid feel and plenty of comfort gets the job done. Ride & Smile!

January 2026 Bike of the Month: Let's start the new year with a brand new custom built Italian Casati with a beautiful chrome finish, Campagnolo Record 12 speed groupo and Campy wheelset. I had a couple ask me to help them with filling out the sizing info for a pair of custom built bikes. They wanted old school Italian steel, rim brakes and mechanical shifting and this is the result. His is this beautiful chrome model and hers is finished in Italian Racing Red. I believe this is one of the best examples of Ride & Smile you will ever experience. Happy New Year everyone!
