Before focusing fully on pain management, Dr. Peter Kosek trained in anesthesiology at Stanford and worked in cardiac anesthesia at both Stanford and Oregon Health & Science University. He has been involved in more than 25 clinical trials focused on improving pain care. Today, he continues that work at Oregon Neurosurgery while also teaching and serving in statewide medical leadership roles. Outside of medicine, he spends his time fishing, beekeeping, and in his greenhouse.
