Half of this deck has been rebuilt completely. The other half and the roof structure were re-enforced and recovered. Can you tell which half is which?

Sometimes we are able to save the customer thousands in unnecessary costs simply by inspecting and refreshing what is there. Top it off with some custom horizontal pole railings and this customer has a beautiful deck that will last for many years to come!

Next week we will install a new patio door and all new siding on the home. Stay tuned for the transformation photos!

Finish out Friday!
It’s a beautiful day to put the finishing touches on this project. This 14x12 deck was barely still standing and in dire need of replacement. The new Timbertech deck will last for many years and remain beautiful for just as long.

Have you been thinking about a new deck? It may not be as costly as you’d think.

🔨 Save Your Deck. Save Thousands. 🔨

Not every worn-out deck needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

If your deck’s framing is still structurally sound, a deck re-covering can give you the look and feel of a brand-new deck for a fraction of the cost of a full replacement.

This project is a perfect example. We removed the old, weathered decking and installed new treated decking and railings while keeping the existing frame that was still in great condition. The result is a fresh, beautiful deck that will provide years of enjoyment—without the expense of starting from scratch.

✅ Significant savings compared to a full replacement
✅ Brand-new decking and railings
✅ Faster project completion
✅ Extend the life of your existing deck

Before you assume your deck needs to be replaced, let 4 Square Home Improvement inspect it. You may be surprised at how much you can save.

We were able to help this customer save a little money and just refreshed their deck with new decking, railings and stairs. There were a couple joists rotting beneath that were replaced and a row of blocking added. However, essentially the structure is original. From the outside looking in you would never be able to tell that there’s old framing below. In our opinion that’s the definition of a good repair.

The constant drizzle we experienced this week slowed us down for sure. We were able to push though and get it wrapped up before the weekend.
