So I got my paws on a very interesting list today. It has 152,780 names on it. Know what they all have in common? They follow Rescue One… and haven’t donated to our anniversary fundraiser.

I challenged you all to donate at least a measly dollar or two so Rescue One can cover one month of operating expenses, and what did most of you do? Ignored me like I’m a telemarketer, skipped sharing the post, didn’t donate, and didn’t even bother to like it.

Seriously? What are you doing that’s more important than helping animals? Taking a Facebook quiz to find out which Disney princess you are? Reorganizing your junk drawer? Getting into a heated argument with “TruckGuy69” in a comment section?

I only asked you to throw something in the pot, not show up to clean a hundred litter boxes or scoop every pooper in the yard. (I mean someone has to do that, but trust me, it’s not gonna be me.)

I’ve been practicing being nice for my Facebook Live if we hit our goal, and I am NOT going to let all that hard work go to waste. This is my moment to shine. Don’t rob me of it.

To those who did donate… fine, you deserve something I almost never say unless someone finally leaves me alone: thank you. Ugh, I need a mint.
