to yoga after traditional therapies were failing me. My car accident has led me to so much enrichment that at this point in life, I’m thankful it happened. I attended a Yin Yoga training in January 2016 with Josh Summers, and I fell in love with it. After a week long training, I left feeling like a brand new me. I completed my 200 RYT training in April 2018, after 8 months of training through URU Yoga in Pensacola, FL. Training was a beautiful journey and an amazing life changer. I encourage every single person to try yoga, give it a chance to change your life too. I took up a training in Life Coaching in 2018-2019. Training was a great experience, where I was able to meet other like minded people and learn new skills for navigating what life throws at me & how to not only help myself through tough situations but help others too. Reiki is my newest, and possibly my favorite adventure. I took the level one training in late 2020. I needed something positive in my life, 2020 was a rough year! I trained with a fellow yogi whom I trust and adore. I enjoy reiki when I’m practicing with those who are open to it & my cats and my mom’s dogs of course! For myself, I can feel the changes in me and I hope to help others feel that change too. I've enjoyed Reiki so much that I went on to get my Reiki Master level training completed & I look forward to training others in Reiki as well. Massage Therapy school in 2021 - 2022 was my journey I most recently took. Being stuck at a job I most certainly didn't want but felt guilty for not wanting; finally became too much & I went searching in other directions. When I found massage therapy and discovered the VA would cover my school, I launched myself into the 9 month program. I had been interested in massage for so many years; yet I thought I wasn't meant to touch people "that much" as I'm able to pick up on emotions easily I tend to absorb them & that felt like a nightmare! Once I got into the hands on part of training, I realized it's how I can help people & it's when I feel the most in my element. 9 months of training went by so quickly & I loved (nearly) every moment of it! My other life joys have been art; since I was a little girl I’ve been drawn to expressing myself with many different mediums, clay is a favorite! Meditation came with yoga and I’m thankful I learned how to relax enough to experience it. Tarot started as a fun seeking adventure and it turned into a slight obsession, I now have many beautiful decks that I enjoy consulting, for myself and for others along with the use of pendulums. I’ve always been interested in the Metaphysical world and Alternative Healings. I try to express myself in any way that feels right. For me, that’s been with art, yoga, meditation, life coaching, tarot, Reiki, massage and I’m sure there’s still so much more for me to discover. It’s what I love about life.
