When the Pillows told me they wanted to go to the campground they favor in the middle of Illinois… I immediately imagined a wooded area with picnic tables and a brown pavilion.

I love being wrong.

This was my favorite surprise location of the year and I love that we were able to bring their love for camping into their wedding photos.

Grace + Evan

Grace helped deliver Fiora, my youngest, just a little over a month before we photographed her wedding. Spending the day with her and Evan (my first wedding back) felt a little bit like fate. It was wonderful getting to know these two and I cannot wait to see their story unfold.

My path has been entwined with these two since the start of their relationship and the days when Gabs would bring Gio to yoga classes.

I had sworn off destination weddings— they’re more work than anyone realizes and I’d rather travel for funzies.

Romping around the farm with these two (while 9months pregnant 😬) was a blast. Cannot wait for their big day!

I’ve shared mostly weddings so far but it’s only fitting to share one of my favorite families before they add two more sweet peas to the mix!

Blanca and Dillon had to pivot and change their ceremony location last minute because of the weather— and it worked out beautifully, like it was always meant to be.
