I feel so defeated. 😞 I hired a 'professional' to run gas to my garage so I could work out there in the winter. I paid him $800 upfront. I came home to find this: he blocked the outlet I need for my tools. When I called him, he said, 'You didn't say you needed to use the plug,' and hung up. Now I have to pay someone else to move it. This could have been a bad situation. This valve was broken inside the wall during operation. Gas poured into the home. Columbia Gas of Ohio responded quickly and made it safe. The tech also went above and beyond to restore their service in the middle of the night.

We were able to replace the valve and pit the gas logs back in operation.
