In 1888, women were not permitted to vote, and few women were found in the workplace or at the formerly all-male universities. It was natural for women students to join together in small groups for friendship and support. Although there were three women's groups represented at Boston University in 1888, Sarah Ida Shaw saw a need for a group which would be different from the others. She said to her

To our graduating seniors, thank you for the memories, leadership, laughter, and love you’ve poured into this sisterhood. You’ve left a legacy that will never be forgotten, and while we’ll miss you endlessly, we know you’re going on to do incredible things. Forever proud, forever grateful, forever sisters. 💙✨

LILLIAN ROHRBACH

Major: Major in Clinical Behavioral Neuroscience, minor in communications, certificate in professional training

Future plans: I’ll be attending Mizzou in the fall to begin my official pursuit of Speech Language Pathology. I’ll start graduate school the fall of 2027

Favorite Tri Delta memory: Fall 2026 recruitment and bid day💛 specifically welcoming our PC’26 girls home and opening the bid list with mallorie

Advice I want to share: take initiative for your experience here. So many doors open for growth and the fun, spontaneous moments happen when you are the one to take initiative sometimes instead of relying on someone else to open the door for you

RILEY KRUEGER

degree: finance major

future plans: work with a local HVAC and geothermal company in their finance and marketing department

favorite tri delta memory: There are so many, but I have two. My junior year, getting my little. My senior year in it’s entirety. Watching my little grow, making new friendships, having the strongest new member class, and raising an incredible amount for St. Jude. I felt like I have grown and finally had a place to belong.

advice: Everyone says it goes by fast, and it does. Cherish every meeting, every event, every moment you have to hang out like it is your last. Embrace each moment and hardship. Hug someone and tell them you love them!!

KAITLYN MARMOUGET

degree: clinical and behavioral neuroscience

future plans: taking some time off but hoping to get a job as a registered behavior technician and get my masters in applied behavior analytics to become a board certified behavior analyst.

favorite memory: unfortunately i can’t name just one favorite memory, so it’d have to be all of the times when i was just hanging out in the suite (basically when i lived there freshman and sophomore year) and someone else came in and we got to talking about the most random stuff while we worked on school, waited for chapter to start, or working after chapter. i loved getting to know all of the girls on a deeper level, especially when i wasn’t as close with them. it made me feel even more connected to the chapter as a whole.

advice: my advice is to DONT BLINK!!! it goes by faster than you think. always say yes to plans, always go to the sisterhood, and don’t take life too seriously. yes, academics matter, but this is going to be the best couple of years of your life when it comes to friendships.

future plans: i’m starting my career as an analytical chemist right after graduation! 🍃🧪🔬

favorite tridelta memory: getting my littles and building our family 💗💕✨

my advice is to take risks and switch it up if your current situation isn’t working for you 🫶 always seek leadership and other growth opportunities, you’ll never know who or what is waiting unless you open the door! :)
