Gateways High School, Springfield Oregon

The Lane Education Service District hosts an annual county-wide Student Voice Summit that brings together hundreds of high schoolers. This years theme was ‘Roses Through Concrete’ where students could participate in fun activities like interactive workshops, arts & performances and community building.

Thank you to our wonderful staff and student volunteers that took part in hosting our De-Stress Fest. This event was put on by our Sources of Strength group. We had different tables that our students and staff could go to and learn ways to relax and de-stress. Fun was had by all!

It was such a fun morning watching all of them meet each other and share their excitement about the program and meeting new friends!

A HUGE shoutout to Ms. Shannon, Ms. Carolina and Ms. Shana who keep the office running smoothly every day. If it weren't for their unwavering support, smiling faces, kindness and grace, we would be lost.

These ladies are the ones you speak to when you call, the ones who assist your students with their needs and keep the building chugging along.

Our Intermediate Cosmetology students completed a perm workshop on their mannequins.

They are ready and excited to provide this service to the public!

This was our first month that both our Intermediate and Advanced Cosmetology students hosted our Willamalane Day of Beauty for seniors from Willamalane's Adult Community Center.
The smiles were bright and the guests were thankful!

We will continue to host this event monthly through the school year.
