Brazilian blowout to the rescue! My sweet guest came to me with broken, distressed locks and horror stories of salon mishaps. I decided our best plan was to get her on a Brazilian blowout schedule to start healing her hair and adding much needed protein and protection. We gave her a fresh cut and have color on the books later this month. I would say this is a great start and an even better transformation!

Happy Holidays to all of my fabulous clients. I will be unavailable December 23rd-December 28th to finish getting my new studio space set up! I want to thank you for your belief in and support in me over these past years. You are the reason I love this industry. On January 1st, 2021 I will be leaving the current location at 275 E. 13th Ave. and will be moving my business, Salon Nirvana, to a different location. Salon Nirvana is my baby, and I am not leaving the business or the industry, just pivoting my business plan. I will be reaching out to my clients shortly to let them know of the new address. Please know that I will still be providing my clients with the same great services, knowledge, care, and professionalism that you deserve.
The owner of Hair Column will be taking over the space at 275 E. 13th Ave on January 1, 2021. If you are a client of Kaylie, Amber, Cassi, and/or Cherie, please make sure that you contact them directly if you have any questions about any potential changes to their services and/or location. It has been a pleasure to work with these women over the past several years.

Calling all Oregon hair professionals:

On Sunday, November 8, 2020, HAPI (Hair Artists in Pursuit of Inclusion) is hosting the next 101 level class in our "Black Hair Matters" diversity workshop.

This introductory class will equip stylists with the cultural awareness, knowledge and skill to understand how to care for Black hair. All classes will be led by BIPOC stylists and 10% of proceeds will be donated to a local, Black owned business in Oregon.
