Handed out 50 meals today could have used another 15 😔 sorry to the ones we passed up due to we ran out. Thank you Dana for some of the bk beans, buns, and Mac n cheese. Michelle for the chicken and cookies. Takes a village to feed one.
Forgot to mention we handed out bags with various chips and snacks, water and loaves of bread. Thanks to Cassandra for the hookup.

The Clark County Department of Reentry and the Clark County Reentry Coalition are hosting a Fair Chance Wednesday event from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27 at the Recovery X Gym, 1101 E. High St. in Springfield.

The event is designed for those with prior convictions to connect with employers and local service providers to help them get a fresh start. Attendees will receive assistance with employment, health, finances, education, social security and more.

The event will include more than 20 local service providers, including several employers. Parolees will receive $20 off their monthly supervision fee for attendance.
