Our annual “Love In Action” Banquet was overflowing with gratitude and emotion as we awarded nearly $15,000 to local non-profits and recognized amazing volunteers for their selfless service in our community! ❤️

Together, through heartfelt conversations about how to better serve “the least of these,” we raised significant funds through our silent auction donations and banquet sponsors, all while celebrating the incredible impact of our local organizations. 🥰

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, or served; your generosity is truly love in action. 🙌

ATTENTION!! Grant Applications will be opening up starting tomorrow August 2nd through September 16th. Please see links in comments. We are excited to be able to serve the community. 👉Cancelled annual “Love In Action” banquet due to the Republic Tigers going to State
👉Rained out awards ceremony following the annual Christmas parade

The RCF and our generous Philanthropic Society were still able to run to the fire and help fill the area needs greater than ever!🙏

With rain running down our faces (many others not pictured) we still handed out checks and announced non-profit volunteer awards. Congrats to not just the work of our non-profits, our board, or to the incredible work of individuals behind the scenes, but to Charlie and Linda Brown with Care to Learn who have won Volunteers of the Year!🥰🙌

Next year we will resume our annual banquet, avoid the rain, and enjoy each other’s company.🙏

We are following the school's lead and canceling the annaul banquet this Friday, December 1st in order to allow everyone to support the Republic Tiger Football team as they play for the state championship that evening, Friday Night at 7pm.👌🏽

Thankfully, the opportunity opened up to still honor these organizations and these volunteers as we present the big checks at the Kiwanis stage immediately following the 3pm parade this Saturday, December 2nd!❤️

In 2024, we will plan to have a better than ever annual event (and hopefully avoid the football and fall sports calendar altogether)!🙌

This is our most difficult board meeting for the Community Foundation. This year, more applications than ever from local non-profits were based around the basic human rights of food and clothing.

Looking through the received grant applications we aim to place funds where the biggest needs are in our community.👌

The hardest thing about this, is there isn’t always enough funds to treat the need. As an extremely active board, we have made changes but are hoping to make a larger impact in coming years!❤️
