Nobody knows when most of our K9s were born.

That's the thing about a rescue. There's no paperwork, no birth date, no puppy photos. There's just a dog who showed up in a shelter one day with a whole life behind him that nobody wrote down.

So somebody decided they'd all share one. August 1 — Dogust 1st — is the unofficial birthday for every shelter dog whose real one got lost along the way.

Some of those dogs are now wearing a vest and standing between a veteran and a crowded room. Same dog. Different life.

We're celebrating this Saturday at the Dogust 1st Birthday Bash — vendors, treats, pools, and a whole lot of good dogs. 5:00 PM at Howliday Pet Resort, 4939 US-60 in Rogersville. Come find our booth.

FOUND DOG IN SPRINGFIELD

this guy was found at Northside Christian Church in Springfield Missouri. He’s very thirsty. He has a collar, but it does not have any tags on it.
I do not have the capacity to hold him here in anyway our address is 4902 North State Highway age
