Springfield Angels Adult Mens Baseball Team

The Springfield Angels family took a tremendous-loss. The on-field passing of our friend, our teammate Dave Geiger.
Our entire team wants to extend prayerful support to Dave's family.

We know we lost a “web gem” of a human being Sunday.
But he took his last breath in our arms. He was on the Baseball field, that he cherished.

We are all sorting out the emotional toll of that shared experience.

We fully appreciate the many posts grieving Dave's loss from their own relationships and experiences w/ Dave.

Angles Preston Graves accomplished something few have in years. Against perennial champions & current undefeated Dayton Wolves, Preston went a percent 6 for 6 over a double header on Sunday June 21st.
Wolves have the lowest pitching era in the league. Credit Preston on mad hitting skills on this DH day!
