A few pictures from the 24 Hour Play Festival in late May. The event's success assures us that we will do this again in the near future.
The 24 Hour Play festival, hosted by Queen City Collective and performed at Big Momma's Coffee & Espresso Cafe on Commercial Street. Teams registered to compete in a festival where they had to write, rehearse, and perform a play within 24 hours while being given a theme and prop to use as the base of their story.
Queen City Collective would like to thank the gracious and giving area businesses that helped to make the 24 Hour Play Festival such a successful endeavor. These businesses are (in no particular order) The Coffee Ethic, The Cup - Springfield, MO, Tent Theatre, Springfield Contemporary Theatre, The Skinny Improv, Five Pound Apparel, and Big Momma's Coffee and Espresso Bar for hosting the festival. We'll do this again - look for information about the next festival in the future!
