Over the last several weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to provide Autism training to our first responders, and what an incredible experience it has been.
These sessions created an open environment where responders could ask questions, share thoughts, learn from one another, and gain a better understanding of the unique needs and challenges individuals with Autism may experience during emergencies and everyday interactions.
From sensory impacts and communication techniques to de-escalation strategies and resources available to families, every conversation helped build awareness, compassion, and confidence.
We are proud of the first responders who took the time to learn, engage, and grow. Training like this strengthens our communities and helps ensure every individual is met with understanding, patience, and support when they need it most. 💙

The Blue Envelope Program helps individuals with disabilities better communicate with law enforcement during traffic stops—making interactions safer and less stressful for everyone involved.
🔹 Pick up your Blue Envelope Kit
🔹 Practice a drive-thru interaction with first responders
🔹 Learn how and when to use the envelope
🔹 Get up close with emergency response vehicles
This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, and caregivers to gain confidence, ask questions, and build positive connections with local responders.
We encourage anyone who could benefit from this program—or wants to learn more—to attend.
