This is the new FDC. The marks, the type, the whole system, built the way we build everything: refined ex*****on on every piece at scale.

Brutally refined.
Brutal honesty, refined ex*****on. It’s how we’ve always worked, and today we’re finally saying it out loud.
For years people hired us for the logo. What they got was the thinking behind it. The positioning, the audience work, the whole foundation everything else stands on. We just let the design out front do the talking while the strategy did the heavy lifting in the back.
That was ours to fix. So we fixed it.

It’s time for a glow up.
As we’ve grown over the last 8 years, we’ve seen a whole boatload of change in the industry. In how the economics of our clients verticals function, in what constitutes good (and human made) work, views on hot dogs, etc. Most importantly, we’ve seen some changes in ourselves.
When I ( ) started Fried in 2018, to be completely honest, I just wanted to have a slick little design studio. A maker space. I’d done everything from heavy duty brand strategy work, advertising and marketing, and running events to gig-poster design, but just making cool stuff at the end of the day is what made me happy. It still does, but now in a different way.
But, making cool stuff just isn’t enough anymore. Lot’s of questions floated around the idea of “Purpose”. I need more. The studio needs more. Our clients need more. We’ve always been the ones to help - but we just never really positioned ourselves that way.
So, in the coming weeks, you’ll start to see a big change in FDC-Land. New lanes driven, new ideas brought to the table, a new brand, and a new position. Internally, we’ve called it FDC 6.0. More on all that later.
