Evening walk checking barn progress and last feeding of the day for calves. Checking on the soon to be mom-Mally, yearling bull- Sylvester and Princess Nirvana.

What a busy busy day here….junk wood pile clean up, light lunch from Jem’s Joint, planting tree and shrubs, deshedding crazy Bronco, networking with our neighbors who will have some big news next year ( great idea for the local community!!!), girls worked Liv’s goats and two of the three cattle going to Ship Fair and brushed them out, got home in time to brush and love on my boy Sylvester and Liv insisted she was taking him back to the field. So very proud of the hard work the girls put in today!!! And to see their growth from a few years ago, made my heart happy! Still lots of work to do tomorrow!

Excited for Dara and Kirsten as they got to take Sprinkle home today. Sebastian is doing great with halter training and loves to brushed and scratches! He will be AHCA registered and is available to be a herd sire, young show bull or a steer for a showman. Please let us know if interested. We can schedule a visit or FaceTime call.

Barn update. Footers poured today.

Evening checks on the farm. Don’t hate on the “chop” job on Mally. She was not enjoying the heat Sunday so I was doing a quick clip in the field with the the other cows trying to be nosey while trying to keep her still. Her tendons are dropping, bagging up and getting losey goosey. And lots of barn progress today on the excavating! Almost as much limestone as dirt/top soil.
