Seminole Students

It makes my youth pastor heart so happy to see students from three different cohorts serving their church faithfully in leading worship through singing (and one not visible singing/playing keys). Seminole is such an amazing body of believers who understand the biblical truth that EVERYONE can serve and use their God given talents for His glory 🙌

Sometimes as Christians, we can make the mistake of thinking that the gospel only applies to people who are open to it…but the truth is that EVERYONE needs it. The gospel is consistent and doesn’t change based on location or culture!

Only one answer and it’s not even up for debate ✝️

Midweeks lately 💪🙌

It’s never fun to talk about false teachings and religions, but it’s absolutely necessary if we’re going to know the difference between fake gospels and real thing. Thankfully, our study in Galatians for Midweek this semester will help us both with detecting fake gospels and understanding better the real one that comes from Christ and His work 🙌

As we begin a new semester, we begin a new focus in our studies. “Free To Live” is the theme we’ll be exploring this year as we see how Christ *frees* us to *live* for Him and not the flesh that once held us captive. We’ll be studying Galatians, Ezra and Nehemiah on Wednesday nights while studying Jeremiah and some minor prophets on Sunday mornings. I’m so excited to see how the Lord works in our hearts this year!!

Anybody remember this book? Anyway, we’ve got church tomorrow, don’t miss it!

Today is a huge day for many of you; the start of a new school year. Some of you might be going to new schools, some just new studies. Some just starting their journey, others concluding. Whatever the case is, I’m praying for you and entrusting you to the Lord’s provision. May you be wise with your time, giving of your kindness, discerning of your influences, bold in your testimonies, courageous in the face of opposition, and steadfast in your trust in the Lord.

May this school year be your best yet 😊
