Gardens 2 Envy

So this hydrangea, I think it was supposed to be a dwarf, it stands about 10' tall! This year it grew to this height and about 6ft. across. So I decided to try to see if I could keep him controlled and trimmed up next year and not take up the whole bed.

This is a bed I am trying to tame. I have never tried to organize or design this bed it's always been one to throw extra "I'll deal with it later plants! or I dug it up at a clients and couldn't throw it away!

I found this butterfly w**d, blooming and not at all where I had planted in this bed... and he has several buddies!

I am going to start adding posts of my perennial garden exploits... right or wrong we can learn together... I will say just because I do something one way doesn't mean it's the only way! I have been proved wrong by mother nature and other gardeners. This is a journal of my gardening and what I am doing!

This is an exterior pic of my perennial garden as you approach it.
It was taken about a month ago. I have 5 sprinklers going everyday during the hot summer for an hour on each section. It is always beautiful and blooming.

This is a beginning to our journey ... it's a long way to get here ...
but when you do ... ahhhhh relax! For everyone who visits but we work our selves very hard... we love it ...

Hi everyone! Is anyone having any plant issues yet? It’s always hard for plants to adjust after being outside all summer!

Just so you all know I am not perfect… I let my Meyer lemon get too dry before I brought it in…. He has dropped almost every leaf, but the stupid thing is now setting blooms for fruit! I will probably pollinate it by hand with a paintbrush… fun stuff…

looking for dependable person that enjoys caring for tropical plants… This would be a 3 to 4 hour job once a week in Springfield. It can be done any day but the easiest days of the week to do this job is on Saturday or Sunday when the businesses are closed! let me know what your experience with tropical plants is … and if you have the time and availability PM me!
