Several years ago, we implemented Summer Fridays as a way to boost morale and give our firm a well-deserved jump start on the weekend—and it's become one of our favorite traditions.

From Memorial Day through Labor Day (May 29–August 28), our offices will close at 4:00 p.m. every Friday, giving our employees a little extra time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the summer months with family and friends.

Bacon Wilson is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated individual to join our Residential Real Estate Department as a Residential Real Estate Runner.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently while supporting a collaborative legal team.

🚘 This position requires the use of a personal vehicle throughout the workday. Some weeks may involve travel for more than 50% of the workday while making deliveries and coordinating document exchanges with firms throughout the Springfield area. Mileage is reimbursed at the current federal reimbursement rate.

We’re looking for candidates with strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently.

Coming back after a long weekend can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when emails, deadlines, and responsibilities start piling up again.

For Mental Health Awareness Month, we wanted to share a simple reminder: easing back into your routine is okay. Productivity doesn’t have to happen all at once, and giving yourself grace is part of maintaining your mental well-being.

Start small, prioritize what matters most, and remember that rest is productive, too. 💚

In observance of the federal holiday, all offices will also be closed on Monday, May 25.
