The US Surgeon General's office has issued a new warning about screentime for children. The advisory links excessive and "compulsive" screen use to poor sleep, lower school performance, and mental and behavioral issues. General guidelines in the report state that children aged 6-18 should limit screen use to up to two hours daily.
