Tonight got a little crazy at youth group!

Our students learned about Sherpas and the incredible role they play in helping climbers reach the top of Mount Everest. Then it was time to put that knowledge into action! 🏔

Working in pairs, one student was blindfolded while the other had to guide them through a series of challenges using only their words. They had to build "tents," make a s'more (which may have been everyone's favorite part), unfold and roll back up a sleeping bag, and finally make their way to the top of the "mountain."
There were plenty of laughs, a little confusion, and a lot of teamwork.

Afterward, we shifted our focus to the wonder of God and the beauty of His creation. We talked about incredible places like Mount Everest and how they point us to the greatness, creativity, and power of our Creator. Everywhere we look, we can see evidence of God's handiwork and His glory.

💜 Join us Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM as we continue our Wonder series and explore more of who God is through the amazing world He created! 🏔

Last night our youth group hit the road and headed to Buc-ee's!

We had an awesome time hanging out, loading up on snacks, exploring the store, and of course... grabbing some of Buc-ee's famous brisket! 🍖

It's always a blessing to spend time together, make memories, and build friendships outside of our regular youth nights.

Be sure to keep an eye on our page for information about our next outing—you won't want to miss it!💜

Tonight at youth we had an absolute blast playing extreme tic tac toe 😅 The competition got intense, and there were lots of laughs all around!

After the games, we shifted into some deeper conversation and talked about biblical truths surrounding life. We discussed how God knits us together in the womb, knowing us before our bodies are even fully formed, and just how precious and valuable every life is to Him. It led to some really meaningful conversation and thoughtful discussion with the students.

We're so thankful for a group that can have fun together but also lean into important conversations with open hearts. ❤️

Join us next Wednesday at 6:30pm ☺️

Tonight at youth we played Clap Slap Cup, and honestly it was so much fun watching them play!

But after the games, we shifted gears and talked about one of the most uncomfortable topics to discuss with teenagers — s*x.

Not in a “health class” kind of way, but through a Biblical perspective.
We talked about God’s perfect design for marriage between husband and wife, how He created us with purpose, and how being fruitful and multiplying was part of His design from the very beginning.

These conversations can feel awkward sometimes, but they matter so much.
The world is loud about these topics, so it’s important our teens also hear truth, love, and God’s intention behind them.
Really thankful for a group of teens willing to listen, ask questions, and have real conversations tonight. 💜

Pizza bread night = success 🍕

It was loud.
It was chaotic.
It was a little messy… okay, a LOT messy 😅
But it was full of laughter and so much fun!

Somewhere along the way we ran out of cheese, so we hit pause and then the leaders helped finish the job—including Pastor Missy!
And honestly, they delivered 👏

We love nights like this, full of joy, teamwork, and a whole lot of memories being made.

Make sure you come see us this Sunday and grab a pizza bread to support our youth! (and taste all that hard work)! 🍕💛

There is something so incredible about getting to watch our youth step into the calling God has placed on their lives. 💜

This is Aven. She’s been faithfully serving on a worship team for years now, but recently been serving at Maiden Lane and it’s been such a gift to watch her grow.
She doesn’t just have a beautiful voice, she carries a heart that truly seeks to worship the Savior in everything she does.

It’s more than talent she offers, it’s surrender.
It’s obedience.
It’s saying yes to whatever God has in front of her.
We are so blessed to witness her walking in His plans for her life, and we can’t wait to see all that He continues to do through her. 🙌

We love you, Aven!!

Fearing God isn’t about being afraid,
it’s about honoring Him,
respecting His power,
and responding to His voice.

In Jonah 3, the people of Nineveh heard God’s warning and chose to turn back to Him and He met them with mercy.
That’s what a healthy fear of God does, it leads us closer, not farther away.

Join us Wednesday night at 6:30pm as we talk more about what it looks like to live with that kind of reverence. Bring a friend, we’d love to see you 💜
