My first custom patch, from long ago. Back then, I thought patches needed a firm backing to start with. What's it embroidered into, you may ask... Seat belt strapping! I've since learned better, and not only do my patches look nicer, but my hands don't hurt nearly as much when I do a custom piece either LOL
