Just a fun little event happening on Saturday 9/26 in our Community Hall - 🚂🚃🚋😍

Last night our volunteers cooked dinner for the career staff, and we all sat down to eat together. Bevan ran the kitchen as master chef and served up Thai food.

On Monday volunteers at FS422 practiced their culinarily skills 🥘 by making dinner 🍽️ for our career and volunteer firehouse family. It was a great way for our team to express a thank you to the hard working career team and our members and bond over something we all love - a good meal 😁👍

Today we take a moment to remember those lost at the Navy Yard on September 16, 2013. 💔🇺🇸. In our hearts forever.

Today, Canteen 422 and Canteen 422 Bravo, along with four members of the Greater Springfield Volunteer Fire Department, are supporting the Fairfax County Public Safety 9/11 Memorial.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, and all those whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
