We’re looking for artists to lead family & child-friendly creative experiences for our community ✨
You’ll design and guide an accessible, hands-on activity for about 30–35 participants using your own creative process and inspiration. Think interactive, engaging, and welcoming for all ages.
Ideas can include kite making, printmaking, music, mosaic art, writing, origami, dance, self portraits, jewelry + more
Because this takes place outdoors in a shared public space, we’re prioritizing activities that are:
easy to facilitate
low mess
quick to clean up
(no painting or anything with spills, staining, or complicated setup/cleanup)
We’re looking for artists who can create something visually engaging, simple to follow, and meaningful for the community

We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Rosemary Tracy Woods.
Rosemary was part of the Springfield Cultural Partnership family in many ways. While she served as an SCP board member, we knew her even more deeply as a beloved friend, mentor, collaborator, truth teller, and grounding force in our work. She brought laughter, candor, courage, inspiration, and love into every room she entered, and our community is better because of it.
Rosemary’s legacy lives in the artists she uplifted, the space she made for others to be seen and heard, and the fearless, loving way she moved through the world. She believed deeply in people, in creative possibility, and in the power of making room for those too often pushed to the margins. She also carried a deep love for her family, and that love was part of the strength and generosity she shared so freely with others.
We will remember Rosemary with gratitude and love, and we will honor her by continuing the work with honesty, courage, and care.
Rest in power, Rosemary. 🕊️💜
